How to sell ?

To sell a property at auction in our Auction House, simply contact Maître Gilles CARVAJAL.
After agreeing on an appointment, in his offices or at your home, the auctioneer will give you an initial estimate, most often free, and will advise you on the advisability of putting your item up for sale, based on your needs and the state of the market. As such, the auctioneer may enlist the services of a specialized expert in order to value your property in your best interests. You can also set a reserve price, i.e. a minimum price below which the item cannot be auctioned.
You can also attend our free appraisal morning without an appointment every Wednesday at our office.
The estimate set, the item authenticated, the type of sale defined, you must complete a sales mandate. This document is a contract by which you authorize the CARVAJAL Auction House to sell one or more items belonging to you on your behalf.
After the sale, and if the item has found a buyer, we will send you by mail and by check, generally within one month, your payment corresponding to the auction price from which our commission will have been deducted. We can also make transfers directly to your bank account upon simple request from you.
If the item has not found a buyer, the auction house may present it in another sale or return it to you.
As part of our next sales, Gilles CARVAJAL is at your disposal for the appraisal of your items in complete confidentiality.
Several possibilities are available to you:
- bring your items directly to our office;
- fill out the APPRAISAL REQUEST FORM by sending your photos directly to our site;
- make an appointment with Maître CARVAJAL at your home.
