LE CORBUSIER (1887-1965) for Cassina - Lot 426
LE CORBUSIER (1887-1965) for Cassina
Steel table with crystal glass top. LC6 model.
225 x 85 x 69 cm (chips)
NB: The LC6 tube d'avion table is one of the first studio models presented by designers Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand at the Salon D'Automne in Paris in 1929.
The originality of this table lies in the distinction between the supporting
and the piece supported. It was designed in reference to the profiles used in the aeronautical industry to separate the wings of biplanes.
