Fragment of a double relief in marble showing on one side an actor's mask from an ancient tragedy and, on the other side, a sphinx putting its front paw on a head (to be related to the famous episode of Sophocles' play, Oedipus the King). In the ancient style, if we are to believe the unusual profile of the sphinx's nose. Accidents, collage and visible lacks. 22 x 15 cm.
