Beautiful crystal desk inkwell, square shape, topped by a silver hinged lid, gilt interior, preserved in a finely chased silver frame decorated with palms and foliage motifs resting on four feet in the form of lion paws, the whole resting on a square rosewood base circled by a silver frame decorated with stylized motifs ending with four flattened silver ball feet. Missing an element on the top of the stopper, small accidents on the reverse of the base. Hallmark : 88, Saint-Petersburg, 1899-1908. Hallmark of master silversmith : Andersen Neverlainen (1858-1933). Goldsmith's hallmark : K. Fabergé and mark of imperial privilege. Inventory number : 5674. 21 x 21 x 18 cm Gross weight : 3,5 kg
