Democratic Republic of Congo

H : 40 cm
This anthropozoomorphic mask is built around an assembly of geometric volumes. The sharp edge of the nose divides the composition vertically into two parts. It is placed between two pairs of tubular eyes, like the lips represented by a circular orifice. The visored forehead is decorated with a band of triangular motifs and topped by two horns curved forward.
