Luba style statue
Democratic Republic of Congo

The expression of this cup bearer is one of contemplation. In profile, the ovoid forehead is extended at the back by the hairstyle. The face develops almond-shaped open eyes under a wide, rounded forehead, with arched eyebrows. The refined nose, the mouth with hemmed lips and the curvilinear pavilion of the ears punctuate the face.
