Bassa style mask
The face has fine, graceful features: a prominent, half-open mouth, a fine nose in the shape of an inverted "T" and two eyes with drooping lids whitened with kaolin. The continuous arch of the eyebrows and the bulging center of the forehead are highlighted.
The whole is crowned by a large headdress composed of five vertical chiseled ridges, each separated by a line of alternating white and blue color.
The mask rests on a jabot pierced with holes.
