This war mask is structured in a superimposition of forms projected in high relief: the nose, whose raised wings envelop the face, the visored forehead, separated by a median line, the animal horns meeting in an arc.
The half-spherical eyes and the large half-open mouth are set back from these projections in relief.
The density of the composition is accentuated by the decoration with copper nail heads, whose arrangement emphasizes the powerful volume of the facial projections.
