Wooden statue representing a male figure with archaic forms. - Lot 118
Wooden statue representing a male figure with archaic forms. Although the erosion of the wood has left the arm missing, one can easily imagine the movement of this limb raised towards the sky to support the calabash placed on the head. The cylindrical and long abdomen rests on short bent legs whose ends merge into a circular base.
Dogon style - Mali
H : 26,5 cm (without the base)
